Police crackdown on distraction burglary

Five men have been arrested following a multi-force operation in Bristol to crack down on distraction burglaries. Avon and Somerset Constabulary, Gloucestershire Constabulary, Gwent Police and Wiltshire Police executed six warrants on Wednesday July 29 as part of Operation Montana. Read more

In recent months we’ve seen an increase in reported fraud offences. These are mainly associated with paving/driveway, and roofing/guttering companies.
