Last week Avon and Somerset Police launched a burglary campaign to raise awareness of the crime during the summer. The campaign comes as local residents relax and leave doors and windows open during periods of warm, sunny weather. The insecure buildings allow thieves to walk-in and take items and the police are warning people to lock doors and windows whenever they are not in a room. Read more

PCSO Chris Purvey in line for top Police honour

Back in November last year, KECSAG nominated our neighbourhood PCSO, Chris Purvey, for the position of PCSO of the Year, and we have recently heard that Chris has been announced as the winner of this award within the Bath and North East Somerset District. Congratulations Chris!
Chris will now compete with winners from other Districts for the overall award of PCSO of the Year, across the whole of the Avon and Somerset Force. Read more
