Police announce they are putting the brakes on pavement cyclists

City centre police in Bath are warning they’re going to get tough with cyclists riding on pavements and in pedestrian areas.
With the summer holidays fast approaching, they say that riders breaking the law will be fined or taken to court. Read more

Police target drivers who drive whilst using mobile phones

This week police in Bath carried out an operation using the Special Constabulary to target drivers who use mobile phones whilst driving. The operation specifically targeted those who drive on the phone near schools and at commuting times. The location of the operation was Lansdown Hill by the three main schools and later the London Road area. Read more

Police warn of cat flap burglars

In two burglaries this week, one in Radstock and one in Keynsham, entry was gained by using a cat flap to reach in and remove the keys from the lock. In one of the incidents car keys were taken through the cat flap and the car stolen. Read more
