Police  have named the 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash in Keynsham on Saturday, 23 April.
Reece Mahony-Lees, of Emerson’s Green, died after his bike collided with a stone wall on Park Road. Read more

Police and trading standards officers from across the force area took part in a national operation on June 30 to clamp down on doorstep criminals. Teams of officers patrolled each district to identify anyone offering to do work at the homes of elderly and vulnerable people at hugely inflated prices or without proper paperwork. Read more

Police warn of telephone scam

Police are warning residents to be aware of a scam which promises the recipient a Council Tax refund.
A resident recently received a phone call promising the refund due to incorrect Council Tax banding, and it is believed that this was an attempt to gain the person’s banking details. Read more

Police announce they are putting the brakes on pavement cyclists
